Takin’ It to the Streets — Spring Break Workshop for Teens in Phoenix:

A Phoenix-based offering of Sidewalk School, Andrea Passarella’s signature place-based learning experience.

An immersive, hands-on workshop where teens explore creative photography and visual storytelling through curiosity and reflection. Students travel together in small groups, practicing observation, creative expression, and agency while discovering diverse architecture, environments, and communities. Personalized guidance and mentorship ensure each student’s creative voice is valued.

  • Who: Tweens & Teens (Ages 13–17)

  • Space: Limited to 10 students

  • Dates: Week One: March 9–13 | Week Two: March 16–20

  • Locations: ASU Campus, Agritopia, Mesa Arts Complex, Desert Botanical Gardens, Riparian Reserve

  • Schedule: 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM

  • Cost: $425 (includes museum/gallery visits + daily snacks)

  • Partial attendance is okay; materials and guidance will be provided.

  • Students will be guided on safe and respectful exploration. Signed waiver and liability form required.
